Actually, I had planned to be on route to the UK by now. However, on Thursday I got confirmation that cobble stones when wet and sandy can be very slippery. I would have prefered not to make this painful discovery falling off my bike! But fortunately nothing is broken. (Except for the bike that apparently you cannot simply get fixed anymore if you’re not going to the place you bought it…) Still very painful though, and I was not able to drive away yesterday and today.
So, there’s going to be a slight delay in posting travel photos as I have not left yet. I may be able to leave on Monday and I will start posting updates then.
