Yesterday, I had taken the morning ferry from Belfast to Cairnryan and had driven up to Glasgow. I went for a touring site a short train ride outside the city. After I had parked up and set up on the levellers for the first time, I took the train into the city for a quick stroll. Bought a couple of books for myself and had – nothing astonishing here – an Irish Stew as a fairly late lunch. The rest of the evening was spent relaxing in the camper reading my book.
After the bright sunshine woke me up at 5.30 this morning, the clouds have taken over.
Haven been up early I felt an unusual warmth in the sun. Got an early start and started on my way up north. Even with the clouds, the scenery has a dramatic beauty and I have just stopped to stretch my legs, take a few pictures, and make myself a sandwich quickly.
Loch Lommond never seizes to amaze, in any kind of weather.
