Well, had I known, that re-installing the WordPress app would lead to a complete shutdown of my site, I would have hesitated. Thanks to ProPhoto who no longer supports their theme, the main site was completely trashed. So, I chose to got for a native WP theme to keep the blog going and will attend to the rest some other time…
