Way to Skansen and the Day This far

I had a wonderful trip on the Djurgårdsfärjan this morning. From the ferry I even saw Juno, a former steam ship, now motor vessel built in 1874 to traffic the Göta Kanal, side by side with one of the modern passenger ferries trafficking the Stockholm archipelago. The view onto Gamla Stan from the stern of the ferry is wonderful every single time.

I was early and had time to spare. After Skansen opened I spent some time strolling the park looking at the buildings and animals. And of course I had a kanelbulle and souvas for lunch.

Afterwards, I went around the city, to get bits and pieces of things I wanted to buy (amongst a pair of new cable EarPods). I walked past Thehuset and bought some tea. And of course Vetekatten on Kungsgatan for an afternoon kanelbulle (to be posted later).
I then rested my feet and charged my phone for a while at the Espresso House on Drottninggatan. I do have a power bank in my backpack somewhere, but with my ticket on the phone and contactless payments everywhere, the battery was down to about 15% and it was faster to charge at an outlet.

As I am not finishing up my post, I will head over to Gamla Stan and walk to the tunnelbana station in order to make my way back to the camper for a chilled and relaxed afternoon.
