Today my sister arrived in Björkliden as well. Ronja was thrilled to have her back. The weather was beautiful: sunny and a fresh breeze.
My watch said this:

So, naturally, that’s where we went… About a four-and-a-half hour round trip with a short lunch break (had to test my cooking gear a second time), but the views were exceptionally beautiful. So pretty in fact, that I kept forgetting to (re)start my watch. The route on Komoot here is not as accurate as I would have liked and it probably was a bit longer in the end. On the way up, we stopped at the entrance to caves…
We had lunch just under the top of Nuolja. The top is the border to the Abisko National Park. It was a phenomenal 360° view!
After a few looks on the mountain tops in all directions we descended on another route. All in all a really nice hike. Even though it was quite painful in my knees (mostly the way down). Still wonderful!
