Well, this is my sister’s idea of a rest day hike… (Find it on Komoot there.) It has become quite evident, that we not only have a very different level of fitness, but also a significantly different understanding of what a “rest day” should look like…
Kidding. Feet and knees are put up and hurting less now that I’m back. And the views, once again and not surprisingly, were phenomenal.
We walked along Rallarvägen in the other direction and a little bit farther than the place I had come down a couple of days ago. We picked a beautiful lunch spot with a view onto Kratersjön. Really nice and away from the other hikers.
We took the path less travelled back from Kratersjön and came past the “Midnattsolröset”, a monument piled up for the midnight sun.
